Epimoni Formations Terms of Use

Version of October 25, 2026 · 2026-10-25

These terms apply to any use of Epimoni Formations: the demo, the purchase of seats, the company’s admin space and the program of each person being trained. They supplement the general Terms of Use of Epimoni30; where the two conflict, these terms prevail for Epimoni Formations. These terms are a translation of the French version; in case of any discrepancy between this English version and the French version, the French version prevails.

1. Purpose

Epimoni Formations offers companies online awareness programs built on scenarios simulated by artificial intelligence: a lesson, quizzes, practice conversations reviewed by an automated coach, a final assessment and, where applicable, a certificate of completion.

2. Publisher

Epimoni Formations is a service of Epimoni30, a company of the canton of Zug (Switzerland), whose registered office is at Untere Roostmatt 8, CH-6300 Zug, Switzerland. Contact: contact.epimoni30@gmail.com.

3. Nature of the service

Epimoni courses are unofficial awareness training, offered online only. Epimoni does not run any in-person session and does not provide any live instructor or trainer.

NOT A CERTIFICATION. EPIMONI COURSES ARE NOT A PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION, A DEGREE, OR A COURSE APPROVED, ACCREDITED OR ENDORSED BY ANY GOVERNMENT AGENCY, STATE AGENCY OR OTHER PUBLIC AUTHORITY. Epimoni is not an accredited or licensed training provider, and its programs are not designed to qualify for public training funds or continuing-education credit.

Epimoni certifies completion only: the certificate states that the person completed the online steps and passed the assessment, and nothing more. Epimoni does not claim that its courses comply with the official requirements (content, length, format, approval) of any law, standard or authority, or that they are sufficient to meet any obligation of the company.

NOT LEGAL ADVICE. THE CONTENT DESCRIBES LEGAL RULES FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. IT IS NOT LEGAL ADVICE, DOES NOT CREATE AN ATTORNEY-CLIENT RELATIONSHIP, AND IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR THE ADVICE OF A LICENSED ATTORNEY ON AN ACTUAL SITUATION.

The simulated counterparts and the coach’s feedback are generated by artificial intelligence models. Despite the care taken in designing them, they may contain errors, inaccuracies or debatable judgments, and the law may change after content is written. The people, companies and situations in the scenarios are fictional.

4. Responsibility of the client company

The client company alone is responsible for verifying that the content, length, format and assessment method of the course it chooses meet the legal, regulatory and contractual obligations that apply to it (including any collective bargaining agreement), taking into account in particular its country, state and locality, its industry, its number of employees, and the situation of each person trained.

When a course refers to a legal requirement, that reference describes the context of the program; it is not a statement that the program is sufficient to meet that requirement. Where applicable law requires a qualified trainer, interactive or live training, an in-person session, a minimum number of hours, specific content, consultation with employee representatives, or the retention of records, it is up to the company to provide these itself or through an authorized provider.

The company is also responsible for the statements it makes in its admin space (including attendance at a workshop it organizes), for its choice of the people it invites, and for the distribution of the access links it receives.

The company shall not present an Epimoni course or its certificate of completion, to the people trained, to any agency or to any third party, as a certification, an approved course or proof that a legal requirement has been met.

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE CLIENT COMPANY SHALL INDEMNIFY AND HOLD EPIMONI HARMLESS FROM ANY THIRD-PARTY CLAIM (INCLUDING BY AN AGENCY, AN EMPLOYEE OR A CANDIDATE) ARISING FROM THE COMPANY’S FAILURE TO MEET ITS OWN OBLIGATIONS OR FROM A USE OF THE SERVICE THAT BREACHES THESE TERMS.

5. Limitation of Epimoni’s liability

EPIMONI DOES NOT WARRANT OR GUARANTEE THAT ITS COURSES SATISFY ANY LEGAL TRAINING, PREVENTION OR NOTICE REQUIREMENT, OR THAT THEY WILL BE DEEMED SUFFICIENT BY ANY GOVERNMENT AGENCY, LABOR OR CIVIL RIGHTS AUTHORITY, COURT OR OTHER OVERSIGHT BODY.

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EPIMONI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY FAILURE BY THE CLIENT COMPANY TO MEET ITS OWN OBLIGATIONS, FOR ANY PENALTY, FINE, JUDGMENT, ASSESSMENT, CLAIM OR DISPUTE ARISING FROM SUCH A FAILURE, OR FOR ANY DECISION MADE BY THE COMPANY OR BY THE PEOPLE TRAINED BASED ON THE CONTENT. THESE LIMITATIONS DO NOT APPLY IN CASE OF GROSS NEGLIGENCE OR WILLFUL MISCONDUCT BY EPIMONI, OR WHERE A MANDATORY RULE OF LAW PROHIBITS THEM.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. EPIMONI STRIVES TO KEEP THE CONTENT UP TO DATE BUT DOES NOT WARRANT ITS ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR SITUATION, OR THE UNINTERRUPTED AVAILABILITY OF THE SERVICE.

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EPIMONI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOST REVENUE, BUSINESS OR GOODWILL), AND ITS TOTAL LIABILITY RELATING TO EPIMONI FORMATIONS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS ACTUALLY PAID BY THE CLIENT COMPANY FOR THIS SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY, OR ONE HUNDRED EUROS WHERE NOTHING WAS PAID, INCLUDING DURING THE FREE DEMO. THESE LIMITATIONS DO NOT APPLY IN CASE OF GROSS NEGLIGENCE OR WILLFUL MISCONDUCT BY EPIMONI, OR WHERE A MANDATORY RULE OF LAW PROHIBITS THEM.

6. The certificate of completion

The certificate issued at the end of a program is a certificate of completion only: it states that the person completed the steps of the online program and passed its assessment, with estimated durations. IT IS NOT A CERTIFICATION AND DOES NOT, ON ITS OWN, PROVE THAT THE COMPANY HAS COMPLIED WITH ANY LEGAL REQUIREMENT.

7. Access, price and demo

The company’s admin space and the program of each person trained are accessed through private links. Epimoni does not send them anywhere: the person who receives them is responsible for keeping them safe and confidential.

Seats are paid in advance, per course and per person, at the price published on the course page on the day of the order; payment is processed by Stripe. A seat is taken as soon as a person signs up in the space and cannot be reassigned. Each order opens the space for twelve months from payment; after that, the progress dashboard and the certificates already issued remain available. A certificate is valid for twelve months from its issue. The public demo includes one free interview with the coach per person and does not lead to any certificate.

You may not use the service to enter real data about actual candidates or employees, or attempt to make the simulated counterparts depart from their role.

8. Personal data

The data processed (name and optional email of the people trained, contact details of the administrator, results and simulated conversations) is handled as described in Epimoni’s privacy policy (https://www.epimoni30.com/en/privacy-policy). The company sees the progress and results of each person trained, not the content of their conversations.

9. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Swiss law, subject to any mandatory provisions of the law of the country or state of the client company or of the person trained that apply to them.

In the event of a dispute, the parties will first seek an amicable solution: the claim is sent by email to contact.epimoni30@gmail.com, and the parties have sixty days to reach an agreement. Failing that, the dispute is brought before the competent courts of the registered office of Epimoni30 in Zug (Switzerland), except where a mandatory rule of law designates another court, in particular for a person trained acting as an employee or as a consumer.

10. Acceptance and changes

Accepting these terms is mandatory before any use: starting the demo, creating a space, buying seats or joining a program. Epimoni records the version accepted and the date of acceptance.

Epimoni may change these terms, in particular to reflect changes in the law or in the service. The new version must then be accepted before any further use.

For any questions: contact.epimoni30@gmail.com.

A person who accepts these terms on behalf of a company, by creating a space or buying seats, represents that they have the authority to bind it.

Specific approval: by checking the second box at the time of acceptance, the client company and the person trained specifically approve sections 4 (responsibility of the client company and indemnification), 5 (limitation of Epimoni’s liability), 9 (governing law and competent court) and 10 (changes to the terms).

11. Course-specific notices

Each course states below the rule it relates to and what it does not guarantee. This notice is shown at the time of acceptance.

Receiving a harassment report in California

Related to California Gov. Code § 12950.1 and 2 CCR § 11024 (awareness only: does not meet the training requirement on its own)

This unofficial online awareness course draws on California's Fair Employment and Housing Act (Gov. Code §§ 12940, 12923, 12950.1) and 2 CCR §§ 11023 and 11024. On its own it does not meet the California harassment prevention training requirement: Epimoni provides no qualified trainer to answer questions within two business days, does not provide the required hours, and gives no legal advice; your company alone must check what its obligations require, for example by using the Civil Rights Department's free courses.

Sexual harassment prevention in New York: receiving a report

Related to New York Labor Law § 201-g (unofficial awareness course: does not by itself meet the annual training requirement)

This unofficial online awareness course draws on New York Labor Law § 201-g, the New York State Human Rights Law and the State model sexual harassment prevention policy; it is not legal advice and does not guarantee that your training meets the State minimum standards (or New York City’s, for employers with 15 or more employees). Your company alone must check that it does, and remains responsible for its own policy, complaint form, written notices and training records; New York State publishes a free model training.

Hiring without discrimination (US)

Title VII, ADA, ADEA and GINA, plus selected California and New York hiring rules (awareness only: no federal training mandate)

This online awareness course draws on Title VII, the ADA, the ADEA, GINA and a few California and New York hiring rules; it is unofficial, it is not legal advice, and it does not guarantee that your hiring practices are free of legal risk. Your company alone must check which federal, state and local laws apply to it (location, size, sector, any collective agreement) and set its own hiring rules.
